Solution

Since Angle BOC = Angle BCO = y.

Angle OBC = 180-2y .

Hence Angle ABO = z = 2y = Angle OAB.

Now since x is exterior angle of triangle AOC .

We have x = z + y = 3y.

Hence option A.
