Solution

Expression : $$15 \times 12 + 40 \div 40 - 6 = 21$$

(A) : + and x

$$\equiv15+ 12 \times 40 \div 40 - 6 = 21$$

L.H.S. = $$15+(12\times\frac{40}{40})-6$$

= $$15+12-6=21=$$ R.H.S.
