When a number is increased by 32, it becomes 116% of itself. What is the number?

Solution

Let the number be $$100x$$

According to ques, => $$100x + 32 = \frac{116}{100} \times 100x$$

=> $$100x + 32 = 116x$$

=> $$116x - 100x = 32$$

=> $$x = \frac{32}{16} = 2$$

$$\therefore$$ Number = $$100 \times 2 = 200$$

=> Ans - (C)
