Let B and C together have = Rs. $$9x$$

=> A's share = $$\frac{2}{9}\times9x=Rs.$$ $$2x$$ ------------(i)

Also, amount that A receive = $$(770-9x)$$ -----------(ii)

Comparing equations (i) and (ii), => $$2x=770-9x$$

=> $$11x=770$$

=> $$x=\frac{770}{11}=70$$

$$\therefore$$ A's share = $$2\times70=Rs.$$ $$140$$
