The following equation is incorrect. Which two signs should be interchanged to correct the equation?
2 x 12 + 15 ÷ 4 - 14 = 33

Solution

Expression : 2 x 12 + 15 ÷ 4 - 14 = 33

(A) : + and x

$$\equiv2+12\times15\div4-14=33$$

L.H.S. = $$2+(\frac{12}{4}\times15)-14$$

= $$2+45-14=33=$$ R.H.S.

=> Ans - (A)
