Question 40

If 11$9 = 4, 15$2 = 26 and 15$5 = 20, then find the value of 17$8 = ?

Solution

Given : 11$9 = 4, 15$2 = 26 and 15$5 = 20

If we replace '$' with '-', and multiply the difference by 2, we get the desired result.

Eg :- $$(11-9)\times2=4$$

and $$(15-2)\times2=26$$ and $$(15-5)\times2=20$$

Similarly, $$(17-8)\times2=18$$

=> Ans - (A)
