Question 126

A is 40% less than B, and C is 40% of the sum of A and B. The difference between A and B is what percentage of C?

Solution

Let $$B = 10$$, => $$A = 6$$

=> $$C = \frac{40}{100}\times(10+6)=6.4$$

$$\therefore$$ Required % = $$\frac{(B-A)}{C}\times100$$

= $$\frac{4}{6.4}\times100=62.5\%$$

=> Ans - (C)
