If $$\frac{a}{b}=\frac{7}{9}, \frac{b}{c}=\frac{3}{5}$$, then the value of a : b : c is

Solution

Given = $$\frac{a}{b}=\frac{7}{9}, \frac{b}{c}=\frac{3}{5}$$

=> $$\frac{a}{b}=\frac{7}{9}$$ -----------------(i)

and $$\frac{b}{c}=\frac{3}{5}$$ -----------------(ii)

Multiplying equation (ii) by '3', we get : $$\frac{b}{c}=\frac{9}{15}$$

Now, the value of $$b$$ is same in both equation, => a : b : c = 7 : 9 : 15

=> Ans - (C)
