Solution
Total standard XII population of State C = $$\frac{18}{100} \times 32$$ lakhs
=> Class XII male population of State C = $$\frac{4}{9} \times \frac{18}{100} \times 32$$ lakhs
= $$8 \times 0.32 = 2.56$$ lakhs
Total Standard XII population of all the States together = $$32$$ lakhs
$$\therefore$$ Required % = $$\frac{2.56}{32} \times 100$$
= $$\frac{16}{2} = 8 \%$$
