Study the following pie-charts and table to answer these questions.
STATEWISE DETAILS OF ADULT POPULATION OF A COUNTRY
Male – Female (M : F ) Ratio
What is the ratio between Graduate male population of State E and Standard XII female population of that State respectively ?
Total graduate population of State E = $$\frac{20}{100} \times 24 = 4.8$$ lakhs
=> Graduate male population of State E = $$\frac{9}{16} \times 4.8 = 2.7$$ lakhs
Total standard XII population of State E = $$\frac{19}{100} \times 32$$ lakhs
=> Standard XII female population of State E = $$\frac{10}{19} \times \frac{19}{100} \times 32$$ lakhs
= $$\frac{32}{10} = 3.2$$ lakhs
$$\therefore$$ Required ratio = $$2.7 : 3.2$$
= $$27 : 32$$
