As per the NIRF - National Institutional Ranking Framework - in the year 2023, Symbiosis International (Deemed) University was ranked -
1. Does SNAP include a sectional cut off?
No. SNAP does not include a sectional cutoff. Only your final score is considered when applying to colleges. Additionally, you can give a maximum of 3 attempts at the SNAP. The best score out of all of these attempts will be considered.
For this reason, we advice students to brush on their strong parts as much as possible. This helps in building confidence and then we advice them to study their weaker sections because progressions in weaker areas are easier and larger once you have reached near the peak of your strong areas.
2. Is only SNAP score necessary for admission?
NO, the admission into B-Schools is a competitive and lengthy process. B-Schools get to choose their pick from the lot and they want the best. B-Schools shortlist students after various rounds of personality check. These rounds have varying weightage.
SNAP Score | 50% |
Personal Interview | 30% |
Group Exercise | 10% |
Written Ability Test | 10% |
3. How many students appeared for SNAP 2023?
SNAP is a very popular management exam. It attracts a lot of students because of the type of colleges it offers and the difficulty level of the paper. Last year, SNAP attracted over 1.3Lakh participants.
4. Is Symbiosis a good college?
Yes Indeed. Symbiosis is amongst the top universities in the nation, especially for management. SIU has been acknowledge not only by national organizations but is also a part of international rankings.
It was ranked #17 for management by the NIRF in the year 2023. It is ranked 6th in India in Business & Management Studies by QS World Rankings.
5. What percentile is 42 marks in SNAP?
The score and percentile comparison is a good indicator of targets. However, it should not be fixed as percentile can vary based on various factors mentioned above. Keeping this in mind and the past trends, 42 as a score can be considered to be around the 98.8% mark which is enough to crack most SIU colleges.
