About SNAP Exam 2024
SNAP is a national-level MBA entrance exam held every year for admission into the MBA/PGDM programs offered by Symbiosis International University and its affiliated colleges. It is a computer-based test that tests the candidates' skills in Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning, All questions are in an multiple choice question format, SNAP does not have TITA.
SNAP is a speed based exam. Unlike the CAT, where you have 40 minutes per section and 3 different sections, SNAP is a 60-minute exam. There is no sectional time limit and there are 60 questions in total. That is, you have 60 questions in 60 minutes that gives you a 1min/ question time frame.
Naturally, because of the time constraint, the difficulty level of the SNAP is much lower as compared to other management entrance exams such as CAT or XAT.
Clearing the SNAP exam is just the first step. Following the SNAP, there are GE (Group Exercise/Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview). Your SNAP scores, after the cutoff comprise 50% of the total composite score which will be considered at the time of your selection.
