Substituting these values in expression : $$\frac{3x + y}{5x + 3y}$$

Let cost price of 1 article = Rs. 20

=> Cost price of 15 articles = 15 * 20 = Rs. 300

Also, Selling price of 12 articles = Rs. 300

=> Selling price of 1 article = $$\frac{300}{12}$$ = Rs. 25

$$\therefore$$ Profit % = $$\frac{25 - 20}{20} \times 100$$
