JBIMS MAH CET Cutoff 2026

Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), Mumbai, is one of the most sought-after MBA colleges in India. Every year, thousands of MBA aspirants target JBIMS through the MAH MBA CET exam. The MAH MBA CET 2026 exam was held in April 2026, and as of now, the official JBIMS MAH CET cutoff 2026 has not been released yet. The Maharashtra State CET Cell is expected to announce CAP round cutoffs between July and August 2026. Past cutoffs have hovered between 99.95 and 99.99 percentile for the All India (Open) category, making JBIMS one of the most competitive MBA institutes in the country. This article covers the expected cutoff for 2026, official 2025 data, category-wise figures, and the admission process for JBIMS 2026.

JBIMS Cutoff Percentile 2026

The JBIMS cutoff percentile is consistently among the highest across all MAH CET participating colleges. For the All India (Open) category, past cutoffs have ranged between 99.95 and 99.99 percentile. This means only the top few scorers in the entire MAH CET exam can realistically aim for JBIMS through the open category.

As of May 2026, the official JBIMS cutoff 2026 has not been announced. The MAH MBA CET 2026 exam was conducted in April 2026, and the CAP counselling process, during which official cutoffs are released, is expected to begin around July to August 2026. The Maharashtra State CET Cell will publish the cutoff on cetcell.mahacet.org. Until then, 2025 official data is the most reliable reference available.

Key points to note:

JBIMS has the highest MAH CET cutoff among all participating colleges every year.

The All India (AI) category cutoff has ranged between 99.95 and 99.99 percentile in recent years.

State-level categories follow their own cutoff structure based on reservation norms.

Even reserved category cutoffs at JBIMS fall in the 95 to 99+ percentile range, reflecting the institute's competitive demand.

MAH MBA CET Cutoff for JBIMS

The MAH MBA CET is the primary entrance exam accepted by JBIMS for its two-year full-time MMS program. JBIMS accepts MAH CET scores under two quota categories:

Maharashtra State (MS) Category: For candidates domiciled in Maharashtra. Seats are filled purely through the CAP process based on MAH CET percentile. There is no GD or PI for MMS program admissions under this quota. The merit list is prepared entirely on the basis of the candidate's MAH CET score.

All India (AI) Category: Open to candidates from across India. For the MMS program under the All India quota, CAT and CMAT scores are also accepted alongside MAH CET scores for building the merit list. Programs such as MHRD and MSc Finance under the All India seats involve an additional institute-level selection process including Group Activity (GA), Personal Interview (PI), and Writing Aptitude Test (WAT) conducted by JBIMS after the CAP shortlisting.

It is important to understand this distinction clearly. For the bulk of MMS seats under the Maharashtra State quota, admission is purely based on MAH CET percentile and the CAP merit list. The GA/PI/WAT rounds apply specifically to All India quota programs. Candidates are advised to verify the latest process directly on the official JBIMS website (jbims.edu) before applying, as the exact structure may be updated each admission cycle.
