IIM Bangalore Summer Placements 2026 for the PGP and PGP-BA (2025-27) batch successfully offered internships to all 601 students, marking a 100% placement rate, and involved 137 recruiters, of which nearly 30% offered placements for the first time. Students received a wide variety of offers from all specialisations, including Financial Services, Consulting, Analytics, and Product Management.
The official IIM Bangalore Summer Placement Report 2026 states that there was a noticeable increase in job offers across sectors in Consulting, Finance, and Analytics during placement week (October 13 - 18, 2025). In Consulting, the most recognised sector for IIM Bangalore placements, the total placements in Consulting, 46% were for consultant-based roles, compared to only 38% of total placements being consultant-focused roles for 2024. Additionally, there was also a 70% increase in job offers for Healthcare roles, which reflects a similar overall commitment from recruiters to find talent in new business verticals.
