Equation of Projectile Path

### Formula:

$$y = x\tan\theta - \frac{gx^2}{2u^2\cos^2\theta}$$

### Terminologies:

- y β†’ Vertical displacement of projectile.

- x β†’ Horizontal displacement of projectile.

- ΞΈ β†’ Angle of projection.

- g β†’ Acceleration due to gravity.

- u β†’ Initial velocity.

- cosΒ²ΞΈ β†’ Square of cosine of projection angle.

### Usage:

- Used to determine the trajectory of a projectile.

Question 1

A particle is thrown with a speed $$v$$ from a point $$O$$ at an angle $$\theta$$ with the horizontal plane such that it passes through the point $$P$$ at a height of $$1\,\mathrm{m}$$ and horizontal distance of $$5\,\mathrm{m}$$ from $$O$$, as shown in the figure. If acceleration due to gravity is $$g\,\mathrm{ms^{-2}}$$, then the correct statement(s) is(are):
