### Formula:

$$v_{avg} = \frac{\Delta x}{\Delta t}$$

### Terminologies:

- v_avg → Average velocity; total displacement divided by total time taken.

- Δx → Displacement; change in position of an object.

- Δt → Time interval; duration during which motion occurs.

### Usage:

- Used when velocity changes during motion and only overall motion is required.
