BIMTECH Courses 2024

BIMTECH offers 4 PGDM programs with 70+ dedicated faculty members. The four programs are discussed in detail below-

1.Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)

This is the flagship program of the institute which consists of dual specialization. One is in functional area (Marketing, Finance, HR, Strategy and Consulting & operations) and the second one is chosen business vertical (BFSI/IT-ITES, Digital Business & Analytics). The most catchy part is that 20% of the course almost in every subject is covered by industry professionals making students market ready since initiation of the program. There are a total of 300 seats and each student is required to go 10-12 weeks of summer internship starting in April.

2. Post Graduate Diploma in Management-International Business (PGDM-IB)

This program equips students with knowledge of international business and has 60 seats. This course has been designed such that all the topics covering general management and topics related to the understanding and management of international business are covered comprehensively. The key highlights are the port visits giving students first-hand knowledge of customs, procedures and formalities at port for trading and business. Moreover students are also made to learn a foreign language and International Summer School of 2 weeks takes place in month of June.

3. Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Insurance Business Management (PGDM-IBM)

It is a two year full time residential post graduate diploma that helps students gain knowledge in different fields such as Insurtech, Insurance Analytics, Advanced Risk Management and Advanced Health Insurance. The program has two joint certifications with global education providers- a Certificate in Reassurance with Swis Re and a Certificate in Risk Management with Risk Insurance Management Society, USA. Each year 60 students are taken up for this program.

4. Post Graduate Diploma in Management- Retail Management (PGDM-RM)

It is a two year full- time residential program that has an equivalence of an MBA degree. This program got started in 2002 with aim to produce quality managers capable of holding responsibilities in highly competitive retail marketing system. PGDM-RM holds both front end and back end understanding of the operations in retail industry by conducting industrial visits to various retail formats, warehouses and factories. Some other key highlights of the this program are On-Job Training and opportunity to visit overseas market & attend talk sessions organized by Retailers Association of India (RAI). A total of 60 seats are offered each year for this program.

BIMTECH Accepting Exams 2024

The institute offers a great deal of flexibility when it comes to exams accepted as it accepts all of the major management entrances conducted. A list of exams accepted for each course is mentioned in the table below-

Candidates are evaluated based on their performance in these exams, followed by a Personal Interview, Extempore and a Psychometric Test. Now, based on the overall performance of the candidate in all the parameters, final decision is made.
