This is the XAT Geometry-2 live class question no. 7. I think the process followed was wrong as there can't be more than one 3x3x3 cube visually in the 5x5x5 cube (As was done in the minimum case where in 27z, z was taken as 4, in 8y, y was taken as 2 and finally x was taken as 1), I agree with the maximum case where I got 85 cubes too, but the minimum case is not digestible..

should I register for IIM K? I scored 89%ile, which clears the official cutoff but nowhere near the cutoff of 97%ile where people usually get PI calls. I got an email saying i am eligible for registration but i am thinking if this is futile.

iim k is inviting candidates for registration, i barely cleared the cutoff at 89%ile. they usually call cadidates at 97%ile, should i apply at all?
