Solution
Speed of the person = $$\frac{1200}{12}=100\ \frac{meters}{\min}$$
Multiplying both numerator and denominator by 60 (because we want speed in kmph),
We get Speed = $$6000\ \frac{meters}{hour}=6\ kmph$$
