Rameshwar goes on a trip on his motor-cycle and rides for 405 kms. If he rides for 6 hours at a speed of 45 km/hr, find at what speed he travels for the remaining 3 hours of the journey?

Solution

Total distance covered = 405 km

He rides for 6 hours at a speed of 45 km/hr

=> Distance covered = $$6 \times 45 = 270$$ km

Distance left = 405 - 270 = 135 km

$$\therefore$$ Speed he should travel for the remaining 3 hours of the journey = $$\frac{135}{3} = 45$$ km/hr

=> Ans - (C)
