If Gangadhar's salary is 3/11 times of Hari's and Shambhu's is 3/4 times of Hari's, what is the ratio of Gangadhar's salary to Shambhu's?

Solution

Let Hari's salary = $$44x$$

=> Gangadhar's salary = $$\frac{3}{11} \times 44x = 12x$$

=> Shambhu's salary = $$\frac{3}{4} \times 44x = 33x$$

$$\therefore$$ Ratio of Gangadhar's salary to Shambhu's = $$\frac{12x}{33x}$$

= 4 : 11

=> Ans - (B)
