Manoj's efficiency = $$\frac{42}{42} = 1$$ unit/hr
Jayashree is 100% more efficient, => Jayashree's efficiency = $$1 + \frac{100}{100} \times 1 = 2$$ units/hr
(Manoj + Jayashree)'s 1 day's work together = 1 + 2 = 3 units/hr
