The measures of the three angles of a triangle are in the ratio 1:2:3. What is the measure of the biggest angle?

Solution

Let the three angles of the triangle be $$x , 2x , 3x$$

Sum of internal angles of a triangle = 180°

=> $$x + 2x+3x = 180$$°

=> $$6x=180$$°

=> $$x=\frac{180}{6}=30$$°

$$\therefore$$ Biggest angle = $$3x=3\times 30=90$$°

=> Ans - (C)
