Let area of ΔPQR = $$x$$ sq cm
=> Ratio of Area of ΔABC : Area of ΔPQR = Ratio of square of corresponding sides = $$(AB)^2$$ : $$(PQ)^2$$
=> $$\frac{1296}{x} = \frac{(36)^2}{(16)^2}$$
=> $$x = (16)^2 = 256$$ sq cm
