LCM of two numbers is 90 and their HCF is 3. Given that one number is 18, find the second number.

Solution

Product of 2 numbers = Product of L.C.M. and H.C.F.

Let second number be $$x$$

=> $$x\times18=90\times3$$

=> $$x=\frac{270}{18}=15$$

=> Ans - (C)
