Let present ages of R and S be $$11x$$ and $$17x$$ respectively
According to ques,
=> $$\frac{11x-11}{17x-11}=\frac{11}{20}$$
=> $$\frac{x-1}{17x-11}=\frac{1}{20}$$
=> $$20x-20=17x-11$$
=> $$20x-17x=20-11$$
=> $$3x=9$$
=> $$x=\frac{9}{3}=3$$
$$\therefore$$ R's present age = $$11 \times 3=33$$ years
