Solution

Given = $$u:v=v:w$$

=> $$v^2=uw$$ --------------(i)

To find = $$u^4 : v^4$$

Substituting value from equation (i), we get :

= $$u^4 : (uw)^2$$

= $$u^2:w^2$$
