Solution

Let the total applied =a and selected=s
Therefore not selected=a-s
s/(a-s) =2/1
s=2a-2s
3s=2a
s=(2/3)a
Also given (s-25)/(a-s-25)=9/4
(2a-75)/(a-75)=9/4
8a-300=9a-675
a=375
