Amar can complete a work in 30 days and Raman can complete the same work in 15 days. If both of them work together, then in 4 days what percent of the total work will be completed?
Let total work to be done = 30 units
Amar can complete the work in 30 days
=> Amar's efficiency = $$\frac{30}{30}=1$$ unit/day
Similarly, Raman's efficiency = $$\frac{30}{15}=2$$ units/day
Thus, (Amar+Raman)'s 1 day's work = $$1+2=3$$ units/day
=> Work done by them together in 4 days = $$4\times3=12$$ units
$$\therefore$$ % of work completed = $$\frac{12}{30}\times100$$
