Question 75

The value of $$5\frac{5}{6} \div 3\frac{1}{2} \times 2\frac{1}{10} + \frac{3}{5}$$ of $$7\frac{1}{2} \div \frac{2}{3} - \frac{2}{3} \div \frac{8}{15} \times 1\frac{1}{5}$$

Solution

Expression : $$5\frac{5}{6} \div 3\frac{1}{2} \times 2\frac{1}{10} + \frac{3}{5}$$ of $$7\frac{1}{2} \div \frac{2}{3} - \frac{2}{3} \div \frac{8}{15} \times 1\frac{1}{5}$$

= $$(\frac{35}{6} \div \frac{7}{2} \times \frac{21}{10}) + (\frac{3}{5}\times\frac{15}{2} \div \frac{2}{3}) - (\frac{2}{3} \div \frac{8}{15} \times\frac{6}{5})$$

= $$(\frac{35}{6} \times \frac{2}{7} \times \frac{21}{10}) + (\frac{3}{5}\times\frac{15}{2} \times \frac{3}{2}) - (\frac{2}{3} \times \frac{15}{8} \times\frac{6}{5})$$

= $$\frac{7}{2}+\frac{27}{4}-\frac{3}{2}$$

= $$\frac{14+27-6}{4}=\frac{35}{4}=8\frac{3}{4}$$

=> Ans - (A)
