Solution
Let height of parallelogram = $$x$$ cm and base = $$2x$$ cm
=> Area = base $$\times$$ height
=> $$x\times2x=288$$
=> $$x^2=\frac{288}{2}=144$$
=> $$x=\sqrt{144}=12$$
$$\therefore$$ Base = $$2\times12=24$$ cm
=> Ans - (B)
