Solution

If 5 cubes with edge 3 cm are joined end to end , then resulting cuboid will have following dimensions :

Length: 15cm Breadth - 3cm Height 3cm

Total Surface Area of Cuboid : 2(lb + bw +wh)

= 2(15$$\times3 + 3\times3 + 3\times15) = 2\times99$$ = 198$$cm^2$$

So, the answer would be Option d)198 $$cm^2$$ .
