If the person is walking on 7/9 th of his usual speed , he is taking 9/7 th of his usual time.Let the usual time be x.

So , extra time = 2/7th of usual time

$$\frac{2}{7} \times x = 10$$=> x= 35 minutes

So, the answer would be option a)35 minutes.
