An alloy contains 30 percent aluminum.

quantity of aluminum = 100y of 30% = 300 gm

30y = 300 gm

y = 10 gm

quantity of alloy = 100y = $$100\times10$$ = 1000 gm

We know that 1kg = 1000gm.

So the quantity of alloy = 1 kg
