mean proportion = $$\sqrt{\ 24\times\ 150}$$
= $$\sqrt{3600}$$
= 60 Eq.(i)
Third proportional between 12 and $$6\sqrt5$$.
Let's assume the third proportion is 'T'.
12 : $$6\sqrt5$$ :: $$6\sqrt5$$ : T
12T = $$6\sqrt5\times6\sqrt5$$
12T = 180
T = 15 Eq.(ii)
Ratio ==> Eq.(i) : Eq.(ii)
==> 60:15
==> 4:1
