Let's assume the total work is 10 units.

Efficiency of A and B together = $$\frac{10}{5}$$ = 2 units/day
Efficiency of B = 2-1 = 1 unit/day
Time taken by B alone to do the same piece of work = $$\frac{10}{1}$$
