Question 68

The simplified value of $$2\frac{1}{3}  of  \left(\frac{3}{5} \div \frac{2}{9}\right) - \left(4\frac{2}{5} + \frac{19}{20} \div \frac{1}{2}\right)$$ is:

Solution

$$2\frac{1}{3} of \left(\frac{3}{5} \div \frac{2}{9}\right) - \left(4\frac{2}{5} + \frac{19}{20} \div \frac{1}{2}\right)$$

$$\frac{7}{3}\times\left(\frac{3}{5}\times\frac{9}{2}\right)-\left(\frac{22}{5}+\frac{19}{20}\times2\right)$$

$$\frac{7}{3}\times\frac{27}{10}-\left(\frac{22}{5}+\frac{19}{10}\right)$$

$$\frac{189}{30}-\frac{63}{10}$$

$$\frac{\left(189-189\right)}{30}=0$$
