The angle covered by him during one second is found to be 10° by a coach observing him from the centre of the circular track. What would be the measure of angle (in degrees) described by the athlete by an observer standing on the circle ?

Solution

As we know that the angle made at the centre by the chord is twice the angle made by the chord at the circumference.

Observers is standing on circle and coach is observing him from the centre that 10 degree in 1 sec.

So observer will observes 5 degree.
