Solution

Run rate in 32 overs = 7.2 runs/over

=> Runs scored in 32 overs = $$32 \times 7.2 = 230.4$$

Runs needed to score in 18 overs = 297 - 230.4 = 67.4

=> Run rate required = $$\frac{67.4}{18} = 3.7$$
