Dodecahedron has 20 vertices. How many edges does it have?

Solution

Euler's formula : $$V + F - E = 2$$ where V is number of vertices , F is number of faces and E is number of edges.

Dodecahedron has 20 vertices and 12 faces.

=> $$E = V + F - 2 = 20 + 12 - 2$$

=> $$E = 32 - 2 = 30$$

=> Ans - (A)
