Solution
Let the average weight of 8 people be x kg and total weight of 8 people e A kg
$$\dfrac{A}{8} = x => A = 8x$$ kg
Let the weight of the new person be Y kg
$$\dfrac{A-75+Y}{8} = x+2.5$$
Substituting A = 8x in above equation
=> 8x-75+Y = 8x+20
=> Y = 20+75 = 95
Therefore, The weight of the new person = 95 kg
