If 3 * 4 = 10, 5 * 8 = 18, 7 * 7 = ?

Solution

The pattern followed is that twice the first number is added to the second number.

Eg : 3 * 4 = $$2\times3+4=6+4=10$$

and 5 * 8 = $$2\times5+8=10+8=18$$

Similarly, 7 * 7 = $$2\times7+7=14+7=21$$
