If 19#13=3; 25#3=11; 36#10=13; then what is the value of 7#3=?

Solution

The pattern followed is that for $$a$$#$$b$$ = $$\frac{(a-b)}{2}$$

Eg : 19#13 = $$\frac{19-13}{2}=\frac{6}{2}=3$$

and 25#3 = $$\frac{25-3}{2}=\frac{22}{2}=11$$

and 36#10 = $$\frac{36-10}{2}=\frac{26}{2}=13$$

Similarly, 7#3 = $$\frac{7-3}{2}=\frac{4}{2}=2$$
