If $$\frac{x}{y} = \frac{2}{3}$$, then what is the ratio of $$(3x + 2y)$$ and $$(3x - y)$$ ?
Given : $$\frac{x}{y} = \frac{2}{3}$$
Let $$x=2$$ and $$y=3$$
To find : $$\frac{(3x + 2y)}{(3x - y)}$$
= $$\frac{3(2)+2(3)}{3(2)-(3)}$$
= $$\frac{6+6}{6-3}=\frac{12}{3}$$
= $$4:1$$
