If 30% of x is same as 40% of y then what is y : x ?

Solution

Given : 30% of x = 40% of y

=> $$30x=40y$$

=> $$\frac{y}{x}=\frac{30}{40}=\frac{3}{4}$$

$$\therefore$$ $$y:x=3:4$$

=> Ans - (B)
