$$le(x, y, z) = max(x -y, y-z)$$
$$ma (x, y, z) = \frac{1}{2} (le (x, y, z) + la (x, y, z))$$
$$Ma(10, 4, le((la10, 5, 3), 5, 3))$$
Or $$Ma(10, 4, le(8, 5, 3))$$
Or $$Ma (10,4,3)$$
Or $$\frac{1}{2} (6+7) = 6.5$$
