What is the measure of an interior angle of a regular Octagon?

Solution

Sum of all interior angles of a polygon having $$n$$ sides = $$(n - 2) \times 180$$°

Number of sides of octagon, $$n = 8$$

=> Sum of interior angles = $$(8 - 2) \times 180$$°

= $$6 \times 180 = 1080$$°

$$\therefore$$ Measure of each interior angle = $$\frac{1080}{8} = 135$$°

=> Ans - (D)
