A crate of fruits contains one spoiled fruit for every 25 fruits. 60% of the spoiled fruits were sold. If the seller had sold 48 spoiled fruits, then the number of fruits in the crate were:

Given, number of spoiled fruits sold = 48

Let the number of spoiled fruits = a

60% of the spoiled fruits were sold

$$=$$>  $$\frac{60}{100}\times a=48$$

$$=$$>  $$a=80$$

Number of spoiled fruits = a = 80

The crate of fruits contains one spoiled fruit for every 25 fruits

$$\therefore\ $$Total number of fruits = 25 x 80 = 2000

Hence, the correct answer is Option B
