Question 57

P, Q and R are three consecutive odd numbers in ascending order. If the value of three times P is 3 less than two times R, find the value of R.

Let's say three numbers are (a-2),a,(a+2)

So 3(a-2) = 2(a+2) - 3

a=7 and a+2 = R = 9
